We are very happy to welcome you in the Danube Delta, at Green Village 4* Resort!

Welcome to Europe’s youngest land! You read that right, in the Danube Delta you will find the youngest land in Europe. The area where we are, thanks to the permanent deposits of alluvium, is constantly changing and grows annually by approximately 40 centimeters. This means that you can take your first steps on lands that no one has stepped on before, just like a real Explorer!

We invite you to fully enjoy the following days and explore not only the village of Sfântu Gheorghe and the longest and most beautiful wild beach that the Romanian coast hosts, but also the Delta with all its richness: the canals full of pleasures, plants, birds and fish.

As young is the land of the Danube Delta, as old is its history

The area has been inhabited for at least 7,000 years and today represents the most cosmopolitan geographical unit on the globe – alongside the Romanians, 21 other nationalities live, of which the best represented are the Russians – Lipovans, Ukrainians, Turks and Tatars. In Sfântu Gheorghe, the inhabitants are of Ukrainian origin, Orthodox of the old rite and are called “haholi”.

The Danube Delta is the best-preserved delta in the world and the second largest in Europe. It has the largest expanse of reeds in the world and is the largest wetland reserve in Europe. And these are just a few of the many things you can discover and explore here.

There are some things that we encourage you to experience in the Green Village 4* Resort, for example a late lunch at the Laguna Braserie, an Ayurvedic massage at the SPA, a cocktail at the Riverside Bar, in the Egreta area, a private dinner in one of the gazebos on the water or even an evening spent at the open-air cinema.

KIDS CLUB

In the Green Village 4* Resort, we have a special space designed for the fun and relaxation of your children. Access to the Kids Club is free.
The club is open daily, between 10:00 - 13:00 and 16:00 - 19:00.

LOTUS SPA

Lotus Spa has 2 dry saunas, 2 massage units, a jacuzzi, 2 hot tubs and an outdoor pool.
Access to the sauna, outdoor jacuzzi and outdoor pool is free.
Lotus SPA is open daily, between 10:00 and 20:00. Reservations for counter-cost services are made at the reception or at the phone number 0731.818.534.

Our guests can dine on the terrace or inside the restaurant. Our chefs can prepare very tasty fish dishes, international and local cuisine, as well as options for the ketogenic diet.

If you have valuables, you can leave them in the valuables box at the reception. We are not responsible for money or valuables left in your room.

INFO CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

Guests can be checked in from 14:00. The room will be vacated by 12:00. Leaving the room after this time will be charged with the value of one additional night's accommodation.

LIST OF TV CHANNELS

Although it is not the best way to spend your free time, in the list of TV channels you will find TVR1, Pro TV, Antena 1, Prima TV, DIGI TV and other popular television channels. At the same time, at the Resort Reception you will find a selection of current books, as well as various board games.

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE / DO NOT DISTURB

Every day significant amounts of water are used to wash towels that have been used only once. YOUR IMPACT CAN BE A SMALL ONE!
• The towel placed on the support means "I will still use it"
• The towel left on the floor means "I need another one"

If you want to have a late morning or you want to contribute to the protection of nature, choose not to be disturbed. You can send this to us like this:
• The open-eyed disk on the outside of the room door means "The room is free, please clean it"
• The disc placed with eyes open on the outside of the room door means "Do not disturb".

LAUNDRY SERVICE

Your time is precious and deserves to be spent as you please. Whether you call it Laundry Service or Concierge Service, Green Village Resort handles your laundry with care and respect!
Our attention to detail, modern equipment and eco-friendly cleaning techniques promise to give you quality results. Your laundry will be washed, dried, ironed and folded with care, just like we would for our children. In the closet you will find the order forms, which, after completing, please hand them in at the reception, together with the laundry that needs cleaning.

Silence, above all

We want our guests to truly enjoy the Green Village 4* Resort experience, and for that a restful sleep is necessary.

Our buildings are built in harmony with nature, from light, ecological materials, in accordance with the international standards specific to this type of resorts. During your stay, please reduce as much as possible activities that could disturb the peace of other guests, such as listening to music at a high volume in the rooms or adjacent areas (terrace, balcony, gazebo), parties or gatherings of people, moving furniture, conflicts or heated discussions.

Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms

We remind you that smoking is not allowed inside. In case of violation of this rule, unfortunately we will have to charge you for professional cleaning costs of 100 euros, in order to be able to offer a room without strong odors to each guest.

Decency and good behavior

In the restaurants, access is allowed only to people with a decent outfit. It is recommended to avoid wearing bathing suits, pajamas or clothing items designed for sports activities.

The resort reserves its right to refuse accommodation or service in the restaurant to intoxicated, rude or disturbed persons who, through their attitude, damage the image of the resort or disturb other guests.

Our specialized team takes care of every function of the resort, both technically and aesthetically.

From the outdoor swimming pool to the organic garden, you will find in the courtyard of the resort, at every step, a way to spend your vacation and learn new things: Restaurant & Brasserie, indoor and outdoor cinema, organic garden, kids club, marina, sauna, outdoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, massage, darts, billiards, board games, library, fishing, badminton, bicycles, kayak, football and sand volleyball.
